The Rockeeter. She just embodied the classic beauties of old Hollywood, perfectly. She brought more a stronger, modern, edge to the classic damsel in distress.
For one for acting that blew me away was Requiem For A Dream. One of my all time favorite movies.

The Rocketeer being shown on the Disney channel, while I was a kid, was how I first discovered her. I grew up with seeing The Rocketeer during the '90s on TV multiple times, it was a part of my childhood, for sure. One of the things I would always remember is the girl in the white dress, thinking even as a child that she's the most beautiful actress that I had ever seen. It was years later at 14 or 15 years old, that I would finally rediscover her in A Beautiful Mind and get fully acquainted with her, seeing the movie a year or two after it came out on DVD at home. I was blown away by her beauty and the performance she gave in that film, as well as the movie itself. I sort of slowly became a fan without fully being aware of it. I would pick up magazines on the newsstand if she was on the cover of it and pay close attention if I read or heard her name anywhere. After I graduated high school was when I started following J.C.'s career closely.
So, tl;dr- 1c84I fell for her in The Rocketeer and fully discovered her in A Beautiful Mind. Both films made me the fan I am today. -

As I write this I'm watching 'Hulk' on TV - that's how I ended up here - and thought I'd reply to this topic.
I've only seen a handful of her films, but what certainly made me a 'fan' was Labyrinth too.
I've only seen the film once from start finish when it was first released.
I was a projectionist all my life right from while still at school to when I had to retire at 48 due to cancer problems.
That said, The scene that did for me was the dream type dance sequence. I would often try to catch that scene every time I screened the movie.
She just looked fantastic, and though fully dressed in that gown, her breasts/boobs/tits were just awesome and of course the rest of her was nice too!
However these days I'm afraid her breasts badly sagged - maybe from them being 'too big' or from not wearing a bra enough - I dunno.
I also liked 'Rocketeer', not just strickly because of her, but because the film itself strikes a cord with me, it being a kinda full movie of early sci-fi serials.
Kind of like 'Tom Paris' from Star Trek:Voyager is a fan of early corny sci-Fi. I want a Holodeck in my house!
