      IKR? All the other great horror directors have, like George Romero, David Cronenburg, Tobe Hooper, John Carpenter, Brian Depalma, and Tom Holland.

            Yes, that does seem strange, and, rather a missed opportunity, that a guy of his calibre never filmed an adaption of a Stephen King novel. I wonder if Stephen feels the same way?

              Well, King called him a bad director in "Danse Macabre", so maybe they never wanted to collaborate (although to be fair he wrote that before Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream ect.).
