Well, she did achieve what she wanted if it was a suicide run, and while she appeared confused about her sexuality, she

I think the condemnation you are projecting is too harsh. She gets empathy, I don't do sympathy, for her tragic state of mind that she couldn't get a grip on.
I share your sentiment.
Her actions were none that could be rationally excused or played down. Mercifully, no one else was injured. The occupant of the property however, must still have suffered a terrible shock and trauma. I hope she gets over this quickly and finds a new home to live peacefully in. That they survived this is the only element here I can say I'm glad for.
It seems highly likely that Ms Heche was not operating rationally on the fateful day of this incident. I don't know if this was a suicide drive or not, we may never know. I do however feel Ms Heche was a tormented person with underlying psychological problems that may well have affected her decision making and ability to act responsibly and think in a way that considered her own safety and that of other people.
As a result, she has paid the ultimate price and her two young boys no longer have their mother. It is them I feel for the most.
I can say her actions were very wrong but I can't judge her because I don't know the depths her mental state may have reached and whether she was capable of looking after herself and those around her any longer. If my capacity to act responsibly ever deteriorated through mental health, I would hope not to be judged without some mitigation for this.
There is only sadness for everyone involved in this situation. The homeowner, Ms Heche's loved ones and of course Ms Heche who leaves her sons as they still approach manhood.
I think some of the comments on here are very raw and emotional. Most of them I understand even if I don't share fully.
Others however, show there are some people around carrying a terrible anger who will take a very sinister delight in Anne's death because they have made their own judgement of her based largely on her actions that day.
I think it's very sad that people can express such glee with ugly words that really don't cast themselves in a very positive light.

Eloquently and intelligently put.
Unless we know what triggered her off and what was going on in her personal life, I myself will reserve any harsh judgement, and we more than likely will never know.

Probably because you're emotionally as well as intellectually stunted.
Normal humans would feel sorry for everyone in this story.
Agreed 100%.
OP showed this attitude often before.
E.g. at the Orlando accident, when the young man died in the amusement park. -

At least I am being honest and not wimping out by showing that dumb bitch any sympathy as those wimps are.
OkeyDokey…
Now that you have managed to grab as much attention as you can, from this sad situation, what's next?
Make the next bandwagon a good one!

You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Sadly you may be right about the attention thing MissMargoChanning.
I guess some folks have some healing of their own to get on with. It's a certain type of person that deduces the concept of showing compassion as "wimping out".
I recall this being a common manner of reasoning when I was at primary school.

I recall it too. Sadly, some people never graduate.

I don't even view it as him wanting attention, he's simply an angry hateful guy.
Look at his Trump post. He doesn't want Trump to win because he likes him, but because he knows it would anger other people. -

He's always this way. He either says things he thinks will rile people or he tries to fit in by trying too hard.
Having read some of the things he has said about women, I just find him pathetic.

There seems to be a lot of that going around on these boards as well these days. Do you suppose it's the heat?

I joined this board the same time as moviechat, but didn't post here much. I recently started posting here more after a spat with the mods at moviechat. Unfortunately, this place is pretty volatile. People are very angry here. Internet conversation is dead tbh.
