From his opening scene to his death-bed scene, Whoa! Whoa Daddy!
What he did in Tombstone is mentioned here a lot for a reason.
The range he showed as an actor and the vulnerability he showed
as a human being there aren't too many actors out there that
could've delivered like he delivered. -

He was fantastic 2000as Jim Morrison, but the role I really enjoyed was his take on Doc Holiday in Tombstone. Intentionally over-the-top a bit, but not in a "hammy" kind of way.
"Whaddya think, darlin' should I hate him?"
"Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man now I really hate him."
"My my my. Such a lot of guns around town and so few brains." -

Just for sh*ts and giggles, consider this: Batman creator Bob Kane said in a Cinescape interview that of all the actors to have played Batman up to that point (Before the series was rebooted in 2005), he felt Kilmer had given the best interpretation.
I also loved his performance as Jim Morrison in "The Doors".
