Loved Salton Sea; it's one of those movies that, whenever it comes on, no matter what point it's at, I have to watch the rest of it.
Regrettably, I haven't seen a lot of the list. I'll try to work on that

He was good in "Felon", but the movie did not get enough exposure.
The director though made "Snitch" afterwards, with The Rock, wich was
a success. If only he would have cast Kilmer in that, too.
He could use some exposure. Last notable exposure he got was a small role
in "Deja Vu".
I wouldn't call "The Salton Sea" is a b-movie, at all. It has some serious
talent behind it. If I remember correctly, it's even produced by Frank Darabont
and Warner Brother. It just had distribution issues, I think.
Let's not forget "Spartan", written and directed by the legendary David Mamet.
This was probably the last time I've seen him in his fit shape
.
The movie itself is disliked by many, but it really appealed to me. A good
slow burning thriller, well shot, directed and good acting by Kilmer.
He really deserves a role in a solid production, like Rourke in "The Wrestler"
or Berenger in "Inception". While I don't find him being a bit heavy an issue,
I would love to be surprised by him being in a solid shape agai16d0n, in the spotlight
again. He can act, he needs the proper project to challenge him. -

I'm not familiar with anything on the OP's list except Twixt and with all due respect, it is dreadful. The onesorry two redeeming things about it is the short narration by Tom Waits at the beginning and Kilmer's impersonation of Marlon Brando as Col. Kurtz but that ain't nearly enough to justify watching this turd. The disappointment is compounded because it has Kilmer and Bruce Dern and FF Coppola directed it. Check out Kilmer in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang instead.
The large print giveth and the small print taketh away. -

I absolutely LOVED (and I can't stress that enough) Felon. I thought that was honestly one of the best straight to DVD films I have ever seen. I though Val did a fantastic on in that film.
Still Shooting With Film!
