Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Julia Roberts

    st-shot — 9 years ago(May 13, 2016 06:36 AM)

After her 2000 Oscar, nearly two dozen films of disapproving looks and high pitched laughter, two more bombs, Mother's Day and the Clooney pic being savaged at Cannes. Maybe she can run The Preakness, couldn't be worse than the same old same old she's been dishing all this century.

Neither of her 2 new films is doing well as of May 16
      Mother's Day, only 28 million
      Money Monster, 15 million
What happened to the day of her 100 Million films ?

Aside from Valentine's Day in 2010, and Ocean's 11 and 12, her last 100 million film was Erin Brockovich way back in the year 2000

Money Monster was made on a $27 mil budget and went on to make about $93 mill.

I've written before- if she'd turn her hair red and curl it up again, she'd do better at the box office.
Julia, "If you color and curl, they will come!"
