Why Does This Site + Some Other People On Other Sites Say Brooke's Eyes

Why does this site say that Brooke's trademarks are brown hair and green eyes? I have read this said on a few other sites too like Listal which they corrected after I told them she has blue eyes not green! I contributed this information in the edit option on here too but so far it hasn't been changed!
There used to be a great Brooke Shields fan site by a woman named Jodie called,Brooke Nook and she had old articles and interviews of Brooke from the 1970's and 1980's.One was from Rolling Stone in early 1978 and the interviewers described her eyes as very big blue eyes! There was also an7ecother magazine I forget the name also from around early 1978 and it said her eyes are sinfully blue! And on the old Brooke Nook,there was a black and white picture of Brooke at about age 3 from one of her child modeling agencies I think it was from,it dsecribed her as ages between 2-4 and said she had blonde hair(you can see in her color childhood pictures when she was very little she had blond hair) and again,blue eyes!
I asked Jodie about this and she said her eyes are blue and I asked her if any of her parents had blue eyes because it didn't look from pictures like her mother did,and I couldn't tell from pictures if her father did or not,and Jodie said Brooke got her blue eyes from her father Frank! Years ago I also read on some Hollywood biography site,they described her as a teen and said her sparkling blue eyes!In most pictures her eyes are blue,but sometimes they have a greenish blue color.
Very pretty actress Kristen Stewart has beautiful true light green eyes,and gorgeous Jaclyn Smith said her eyes are green in her book,The American Look. -

But Brooke doesn't have green eyes. She has as I said blue eyes as even her modeling agency picture when she was about 3 said and the woman who ran that Brooke Nook fan site,which sadly doesn't exist anymore said her eyes are blue and that as I said she said her father Frank had blue eyes and that is where she got them from.And as I also said many 1970's interview/articles with and about her by people who met her said her eyes are blue.And a Hollywood movie page I forget the name said she had sparkling BLUE eyes. kristen Stewart is beautiful with a beautiful true green color and very pretty shaped eyes.If you compare her eyes,you will see how Brooke's eyes are blue not green.Even compare them to other green eyed actresses like the once naturally gorgeous Jaclyn Smith who says she has green eyes.
And in most pictures especially close ups you can see that Brooke's eyes are clearly blue.Also I once read a 1985 news paper article that described her as having slate blue eyes. And other online references to her as a blue eyed brunet beauty. -

Could there be a slight chance that the "tons" of pics you've seen could have been photo manipulated? Just saying. I looked at Google images, searched for Brooke Shields close up and didn't see the tons of blue eye images you're referring to.

BigRich, the first two links don't work,no picture comes up but the last one did and I think her eyes definitely look blue not green there. I really wish that Jodie still had her Brooke Nook fan site still online,it was online for like 10 years and she had like 1,000's of pictures,most close up color pictures of Brooke from the time she was very little to the present and in just about every picture her eyes are blue,I think only 1 picture of her in her 30's her eyes looked more green.
Here on the 1979 cover of Bazaar Magazine her eyes are also blue.And here they are also blue in her teens on the cover of Cosmo etc etc.And here at the age of 12 on the cover of Elle her eyes are also blue.And here on the September 1982 Seventeen Magazine her eyes are also blue.I could post much more of the same,you get the point.

Magazine photos (especially a cover shot) are expensively retouched. And yes, her modeling card for the Ford Agency as a child lists her eye color as bluebut it also lists her hair color as blond. So
Here you can see her eyes have been made bright greenwhich obviously is not the true color, either.
So really, you can't go by professional color photos.

As I had said in my early posts the modeling card that was shown on Jodie's Brooke Shields fan site was a black and white picture of Brook at about 3 years old and it said age 2-4 years,hair color blonde eyes blue. Brooke's hair was blonde when she was very little and you can see this in color pictures of her as a baby and very little girl.A lot of people who are brunets had blonde hair when they were children.

I would think of them as blue-ish gray green. They're definitely retouched toward one color or another in magazine covers.some are/were pushed bright blue, some bright green. The reality is probably somewhere in the middle.

I'm watching "endless love," and her eyes seem to be green. My husband's eyes range from grey to blue to green depending on the mood he's in and what he is wearing. Who knowsthe type of lighting can change it.
What I want to know is
Why does this matter so much to you? -

Here in this May 1978 People Magazine cover story it also says Brooke's eyes are deep blue.
