His Augustus is magnificent, absolutely unforgettable! I also loved him in a short moment in ROBIN HOOD PRINCE OF THIEVES (1991).

Of course! "GOD AND KING RICHARD!! YAAAA!!!"
Personally, I think that twenty-odd torch-wielding, psychopathic devil worshippers on horseback are no match for BB he should have survived that scene, but there you go!
"Now, fulfil your destiny, and take your father's place at MY side!"

I would also agree with Augustus. That shows what an amazing actor he truly is.

Brian is in the few handfull of talented actors that can make each line he utters unforgetable.
My favourite line on so many levels is from Flash Gordon
              WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER,
My second favourite is a close second and schweinhundt1967s fav

Vultan, King of the Hawkmen in "Flash Gordon." I loved the way he yelled "Dive!" with such tremendously infectious lip-smacking gusto. Blessed gave a wonderfully robust performance as Vultan.
Look nonchalant and keep on smiling.

I have to say I'm partial to I, Claudius's "Is there anyone in Rome who has not slept with my daughter?"

For me, it will probably always be John Silver in Return to Treasure Island. I have rarely ever seen a role better cast. I love his line in the end "I've done 'em all!!!" 🙂

As Exeter in Branagh's Henry V: arresting the three traitors for high treason, ripping off their medals, then slapping one of them.
Also, in I Claudius: 'The Parthians are at it again!'

So hard to determine - I think it's his peerless greek Spiro in "My family and other animals" followed by Long John Silver "The return to treasure island" and Mark of Cornwall "Arthur of the Britons". But this is no easy choice at all! 😉

                              Vultan, definitely !
                              "Second wave ! Diiiiiiiiive !!!"
Although his Long John is the best portrayal of that character ! Even the GURPS role-playing game based their character statistics on Blessed's Silver !

                                  Augustus Csar in I CLAUDIUS.
"Quintillius Varus, where are my eagles?"

                                    Augustus Caesar in "I, Claudius:"
"IS THERE ANYONE IN ROME WHO HAS NOT SLEPT WITH MY DAUGHTER???!!!"
I know someone picked that already, but I loved that roar. Also:
                                    "WHERE ARE MY EAGLES??"
"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"
