Does anyone know why he hasn't made any films since Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

For years he was working on The Producers and Young Frankenstein on Broadway but left when his wife passed away. After that he now seems to do mainly voice work. I think with him being almost 90 and his wife's death he decided it was time to step back.

It really is too bad though he let Dracula: Dead and Loving It of all things be his last film.

Definitely not his best but I still really like that film.

I agree. That probably was the worst of all his films. I mean it wasn't completely bad. It just was the least funny I've seen from him. My top 3 favorite Brooks films are:

              1. Spaceballs
              2. Robin Hood: Men In Tights
              3. History Of The World Part I
the three after them would be:
              4. Life Stinks
              5. Blazing Saddles
              6. Young Frankenstein
This guy had so much more he could have done as far as his creativity went, but I respect that with his wife being sick for so long then passing for the next 10 years after Dracula: Dead and Loving It, then her passing, he lost motivation to be that firm with pushing his ideas forward into more movies.
I just love what he does with parody and film. I think his writing is some of the funniest in history and when it's his time to go, I will never forget that about him nor change that conclusion about him in my mind.

He wanted to do some more films but because the later ones didn't make as much money he couldn't find financing for them.
