I have! The national broadcast here channel looooves its brit crime because we do. The rest I can find on youtube or hopefully other streaming apps. There will be some things I can't get hold of, though.
If you get the chance to see the Welsh crime series Hidden (Craith), see it. It's beautiful and sad. The first series straight up haunted me. Great acting. Gorgeous scenery.

Have you seen Mr. Mercedes? Not a British or Irish crime series, but it does star Brendan Gleeson. It's quite underrated, particularly the first season. Although since it is a Stephen King adaptation, things get a little strange later on.

I read an article not so long ago that said there's a streaming service that has Hidden in the US. Not Netflix, it was another well known one.

I probably will! Love this sort of thing. There was another one you mentioned where the main character breaks the fourth wall and that could put people off but that it was good. Which one was that again?
