Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Chris Farley

This whole thread is insensitive and cold
I can't believe someone is using suicide as an example to fuel a point. To you I say you have no beep idea what your talking about and your a shameful P.O.S.
As for the OP I see where your coming from, but it is still a situation that you clearly have never been in and therefore don't understand. I'm sure addicts understand the consequences and further drown themselves in the addiction to repress the guilt. It's very common, and to say you have no
sympathy is really rather heartless. Every situation is different and life can be cruel. Putting things in perspective once in a while will help you have empathy for the supposed people you clearly label as "weak".
RIP Chris Farley, just watched black sheep. Great movie.

I know this post is really old so you'll probably never read it, but whatever.
I survived a seizure caused by an overdose. Frankly, I think you're a twat. You also know jack beep about science and how addiction works.
      Have a nice day.

WOW! I don't mean to be rude but you have no empathy of someone dying of an overdose is pretty ugly thing to say. You do not know the circumstances they were in. Ex: Robin williams. Died from suicide (bet you have no empathy with type of death either) only to find 5b4out several months after his death they found out that he had an illness undiagnosed which they believe sent him spiraLing down. A kind heart wouldn't care how a person dies but feel the loss of a person who brought laughter into your and other wonderful people who have
        died similarly.
If you every lose someone due to the same reasons I hope you would kind enough to the family by
keeping your mouth as to not hurt them more. Or if it someone who is very close to you I hope you see how painful it to those who have lost someone by overdose. It hurts. For in my case lost my brother in laws to suicide and friend who list his father by suicide. You have no idea the hurt in a person when they lose someone who's death was by their own hand.

No one is an island. I'd guess his upbringing had a lot to do with his addiction, as well as a culture where addiction is rampant.

So if a family member of yours died because of a drug overdose you'd still have no empathy for him/her? Yeah, right.
              RIP Farley.

This is why you should always say nope to dope.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
