Why are people so afraid of the truth? HOLLYWOOD IS SICK!

Why are people discrediting Corey because he is not an alister? Is the idea of sickos abusing their power in Hollywood so inconceivable? Look at the hungry parents who throw their babies at the Hollywood moguls - desperate for the fame they weren't able to obtain themselves?
That Mickey Mouse Club scam is practically a prostitution ring. Look at Lindsay Lohan's parents! It's all about the dollar. Even with her being down and out, look at her parents seizing ANY chance to remain in the spotlight. It's these same parents supplying their kids with drugs and whatever else.
These kids are all breaking down in their late teens and 20s. Made to play overly sexualized roles at such a young age. Why? There should be a MAJOR undercover investigation in the dark underbelly of Hollywood. It won't be easy because these people have deep pockets and very long tentacles.I did not come to this earth to please you.

Yes, there SHOULD be an investigation, but as long as the victims stay tight-lipped and refuse to tell anyone that matters who the guilty party
are, then it will continue. I don't understand the need to even bring this up now when he is basically passing the buck off to someone else to do the dirty work of revealing the truth. Secrets beget secrets. The accusation needs to be made official and the investigation needs to begin. Sitting back and talking about it in vague fashion while protecting the guilty's identity is not going to do anything. I understand how difficult it would be, but coming forward with a baseless vague accusation that tap dances around what really matters here simply isn't going to help at all.
Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

He will most DEFINITELY BE KILLED/HARMED in a major fashion. Since he has a history of drug use, it will painted as a DRUG OVERDOSE. No one will ask questions. They will just label it as yet another troubled child star unable to get his life on track.
Even worse, they might not touch him, but go after his family (he has a baby), which could drive him to suicide.
Plus, as much as he wants to say something, it will be his word against a big-time Hollywood mogul with powerful connections and money. Even if Haim told him details, does he have any physical evidence? He will NEVER work again in the industry (even dlist-type reality shows). Don't forget, he says that all his childhood earnings are gone (courtesy of his dad).
So, I think he's brave enough with what he's done. He's already sound the alarm. Enter your kids in entertainment at your own risk. If the child actually likes the performing arts, be a support system for them and let them know it's ok if they want to stop at any point - don't pin all your hopes on the child (making home/car purchases, Vegas trips based on your child's labor) Protect your child's money and make your own. It's scary that it's so widespread. Even if you're not in the industry, you can feel and see the PEDO effects: oversexualization and promiscuity are just some of the symptoms. Feldman is brave to speak out. He cda0an't do this alone, others must step forward.
It's a really big hassle to have kids in the entertainment industry, you got to know where they are ALL times. These showbiz parents want a group of strangers to babysit their kids, which leaves their kids vulnerable to these pervs. You have to be with them onset while filming, in the trailer, at industry award shows/industry events, in transit (car/plane),etcIt's truly exhausting and it appears that most parents don't care.I did not come to this earth to please you.

"They" is pretty vague and the stuff that paranoia and conspiracy theories are made of. But I don't doubt that there are people ion Hollywood who do indeed engage in these terrible acts. BUT, this isn't worth speaking out on if you aren't willing to take it to the logical conclusion. All he has done is open the door to lots of finger pointing and suspicion towards anyone who has worked with his as a star. He's created a witch hunt that people will be more than willing to pile on to without even a shred of evidence. It's5b4 already happening with folks speculating and talking about who the mystery perv is. BUT, nothing good is coming from this because the perv is still doing his thing in total secrecy!
Lastly, if Feldman is so scared for his life, then move! Nothing is making him stay.

TheSolarSailor, where do I begin to answer your statement?
"They" is not so hard to understand. They = anyone with true power (or related to people with true power). Clearly THEY are not the only ones molesting, but THEY have power to get away with it.
OK. What if Corey does name Mr.X as the assailant? Then what? As I have said before, he'll need cold, hard evidence. It will only stand as an empty accusation made by a "has-been" looking for some spotlight (as many morons have commented on this board). Neither you nor I are privy to Corey's battle and journey regarding this hurtful subject. You don't know if Corey confronted this perv one-on-one. I think that he's taking small steps. When you've lived with a hurtful secret for so long, you become numb and paralyzed by fear, guilt and shame. He took first steps in first speaking out about his abuse in the first place. Then mentioning that it took place in Hollyweird was a pretty courageous move. Let him speak out (further) in time (if at all).
Of course, everyone wants the sick perv who did this to pay, but you also have to respect the victim. It's an extremely delicate situation.
Also, where do you want him to go? In hiding? This guy needs to stay connected to Hollywood to receive his slim residual checks. Also, what other job can he do? He only knows Hollywood. If he were to accept a joblo job, he'd only be discovered (by those frequent where-are-they-now tabloid segments/shows) and exposed by fans (he's still quite recognizable). Other people need to speak out as well, even if it's in general terms like this.I did not come to this earth to please you.

Excellent points, ScummyTattoos! Corey is speaking so that others may step forward. As a group, they have more strength.
Also, a lot of people seem to think it's ok for all to be forgotten after a number of years, e.g. Polanski. That man has SO MANY vocal supporters. It's scary! It appears that in Hollywood, it's ok for men in their 30s to have sex with 13 year-olds (What was that child doing at that party? Never heard anything about who accompanied her there.)I did not come to this earth to please you.

If he is so concerned about pedophilia among the Hollywood circles, why was he friends with someone that sexually abused Haim? Haim made that claim that Feldman was still friends with him. That is just weird.

All three names you cite were in fact "brought to justice". Salva was jailed. Jones was sentenced to probation and community service. Polanski pled guilty and was sentenced to three months psychiatric evaluation in prison.

Yes, you are right. However, I think it's all very nice. At least, when we look at the big picture.
You see, someone has to pay the price for our entertainment gluttony. They are the sacrificial lambs, consumed by the "dark side of Hollywood" you mention. And for their sacrifice, I thank them! Thank you, actors of the world who got diddled, and touched in the yarbles.
I mean, you want an omelet, you gotta break some eggiwegs, right right?
So, who cares what the identity of this "mystery perv" is? If it wasn't him, it would have been someone else. I say, let them eat cake! After all, it's not OUR children, right?
And I must confess, I do love me some good films. Just so long as I don't have to see the cow before it's butchered, I'm ok with it. I want my steak!
Simply view it as a necessary offering to the Gods of film. They are vengeful, spiteful, and hungry Gods, and must have their sacrifices. It's for the greater good. -

The parents don't give a f! This is Hollywood, fame and money is everything.
Parents in Hollywood will practically give their kids up for a chance at riches and fame. Like you said, the parents serve as their 'managers,' they give up their real jobs and buy expensive homes and cars based on what their kids make. You wouldn't believe how many parents in Hollywood would do anything for the chance. Tyra did an episode once where she held a fake audition for a movie and hired an actor to be the casting director. A mother was asked if she would get her 7 year old daughter plastic surgery if it meant getting a movie role. Her answer was Yes. Other parents were asked by the casting director if they could leave the room so the casting coaches could be alone with the kids. All the parents said Yes.
Despite being abused at this time, Corey Feldman himself was sued by his very own parents when he didn't give them enough of his money at age 14/15. That's where the priorities of Hollywood parents belong.
I know a woman in her mid-30s from LA, she says everyone who lives in Hollywood wants to be famous. Everyone there is either rich with connections, or a total wonnabe. She told me that she use to love it when she was young and shallow but eventually just got tired of the entire scene. It's all about money and fame, it's all they care about. -

Spot on. Hollywood would need to hold these parents accountable who exploit their kids.
For any child experiencing physical or sexual abuse, you have to encourage them to reach out beyond their own family.
