He had such a wide range and presence in his work, that it seems as he is still here in a way.

He made me laugh in "Twister" and made me cry as Truman Capote. I also cried when he passed away. I, too,will miss him for the rest of my life.

I know how you feel. His performances have always have always been so powerfully laced with emotion and now they seem even more so. Whether he was a main player, a supporting role or even little more than a cameo, he raised the standard of the film by simply being in it.

I still can't shake the feeling that he is gone. This is such a tragic and terrible loss for his family, the industry and for us.
His work will inspire many generations to come, as if it hasn't already. Definitely one of the greats.

Oddly enough, me too. Never considered myself a fan of his before, but I was very sad to hear about his death. He definitely was a great actor and left a worthy legacy.
