one of the best. artists take you up and down roller coasters of emotions through their craft. this is why we have favorites, and non-favorites. lol
this is why we get angry when one of them just picks up and leaves this world, because of some stupid habit they picked up and couldn't get rid off. yes, addiction this addiction that. beep addiction2000. you wouldn't get addicted if you didn't do so much to begin with. -

Wow.
Take a look people. This is the epitome of what an average US citizen thinks and acts like these days.
Addiction has nothing to do with someone doing "so much to begin with." That is dependency.
I am sorry that you do not know the difference between addiction and dependency as well as the fact that you don't even realize you don't know the difference. Why are you not aware of what you know and what you do not know?
How did you get this absurd idea of what you think addiction is in your head? Do you have stupid parents who gave you bad information? Stupid friends? Stupid teachers? Or are you just a stupid person who overhears someone say something and just fills in the blanks for your own satisfaction so you can believe you have a relatively good idea or grasp on a concept?
"Yes, addiction this addiction that. beep addiction."
Read that. Those are your words.
Then we got "You wouldn't get addicted if you didn't do so much to begin with."
Please, let me know if there might be a reason that you think you have even the vaguest idea of what addiction is based on your comments.
You do know that addiction is a psychological issue and that you can do heroin every single day of your life and not be addicted, right? Now, you may become physically dependent but that is a completely and entirely different animal.
Why do people like you insist on commenting on things you know nothing about? -

Are we suppose to feel sorry for a drug addict paying for hookers? I feel bad for his wife and kids more than I feel for his death. He obviously was an beep His political views was to ban guns, but yet he's lining the pockets of the drug dealers and pimps who commit crimes with guns. Gun crimes usually involve drugs in high murder rate areas, well he gave them plenty of money to get guns. So he's a cheating selfish hypocrite that pushed the needle, isn't it a blessing that he's dead? I can sleep better knowing that he's not funding gangsters with his drug addiction.

You do realize that you are a beep idiot, right?
I am really trying hard to figure out why we have so many university educated adults who use the word "literally" in the EXACT OPPOSITE form from how it is supposed to be used. It's amazing.
It would be like me telling my girlfriend I beep hate her every time I left for work in the morning.
Listen, jackass, if you don't know what a beep word means, don't beep use it. -

I agree. I hate that this happened. Both Ledger and Seymour Hoffman were actors I enjoyed on the big screen, and then these things happen. These days I'm afraid of Jared Leto's wellbeing. Seems that the criteria is talent.

Once again an unexpected and untimely death of an artist with great talent and versatility. Such a true and fine actor at his craft. He held all of his roles, whether big budget or indie with the same importance. I just can't believe he died. I was also completely unaware that he struggled from drug addiction. I always saw him as a warm and fuzzy guy with no worries. Now I still think he was a great guy. It's just sad to see that the drug addiction won the battle and took away his life. We lost Heath Leder 6 years ago and I was in huge shock then, too. I guess with Hoffman, it's good that we got to see so many remarkable performances, when Leder barely got to start the peak of his potential.. Anyways the world of cinema will never be the same after losing this great actor and man.
Agreed, same here, couldn't have said it better myself.
