It'll never happen, it's not as simple as north vs south like it was before, we're all pretty far spread across the country. It would end up being big cities against everyone else, but even then in blue big cities you've got Republicans and in the red areas you got Democrats. Do we start killing our neighbors? With the makeup of the country now a civil war won't happen.

You are right of course. Hence my post mocking the loudmouths screaming about civil war every time something awful happens.
It’s literally not logistically possible to have a civil war.
That’s not to say it cant spur violence and some local uprising.
