Shia is 5 foot 9. Same as me, and compared to most males nowadays, it isn't very tall. Just under average height I think.

Shia may be tall by the average standards, but he is not "Hollywood tall". And he's quite shorter than Perkins. He's nowhere near Perkins's height.
James Franco has a gangling look in the likes of Perkins. He's also almost as tall. And he's rather cute.
P.S. Shia has a robust build though. He's far from lanky. Even in 2012 (when you made this thread) he had a medium build. You're probably thinking of the 2006 Shia.
