This one always stuck with me
Simone Mareuil - French actress (was in Un Chien Andalou) - doused herself in gasoline and set herself on fire in a public square
      at the age of 51

For me thus far it has definatly been this one.i mean when selena died i was about to turn six, so i dont' really remember her, but Jo5b4hn Ritter who i always loved to see in any show or movie, just made me so sad. Even now sometimes when i think of him and how he died i get sad. it's like having an old friend die.

I was pretty sad when John Ritter died, as I would regularly watch 8 Simple Rules, but I think I was too young at the time to fully realize what a great performer the world was losing. Now that I have some perspective, I find it really tragic, and it still upsets me. I don't think any other celebrity death has affected me this way. I've actually cried. The only other time I've cried over a celebrity's death was Heath Ledger (which was odd, because I'm not even much of a fan of his, I just found it so shocking because he was so young), but I got over that quickly.
But yeah, other notable ones for me are like a lot of people on these lists: Mitch Hedberg and Steve Irwin.
"What you just said, that should be a line. Write that down as a line. Period."
