What the hell happened to him? (recent picture)

You make zero sense.
Let's use Mickey Rourke as an example. The harsh and unappealing new looks he has every 6 months or so.are not from surgeries he had 2 decades ago, finally falling apart. The changes are current..from current surgeries. He keeps COMPLETELY changing his look via radical surgeries. Changing his nose.changing his hair.changing his teeth. This isn't PAST surgery deterioration. This is a CHOICE, by Mr. Rourke, to keep making new and aggressive changes to his look. He's addicted to plastic surgery and he has classic signs of drastic Body Dysmorphic Disorder. -

I agree and disagree with; while you are correct to consider that he's doing it by choice, and you call it sad, I agree with you 100%, however, it's far from being a tragedy for that very same reason. Mickey is doing this because he wants to. It would be a tragedy if, for example, he was struck in the face, or was involved in some sort of an accident, car crash, whatever it was that left him in need of facial reconstruction That would be a tragedy because he did not see it coming. But, unfortunately, he brought this on himself, so he's gonna have to live with the choice he made and deal with it.

He keeps trying and trying and trying and trying to find a face he likes. He will never get there, because he has a distorted view of what he sees in the mirror. He didn't see how handsome he was back when he WAS handsome. And he certainly won't see it now. Just like Michael JacksonMickey has body/facial dismorphic disorder. And to me, that is sad. Tragic sad. It's like a Greek tragedy. The beautiful man who couldn't see himself the way he really was..who saw only a monster that needed to be fixed. And ironically..transforms himself into a monster.trying to become beautiful. It's a tragic paradox. Sure, his procedures are done via free will. Doesn't make it any less sad.

That's because when he quit acting and started a boxing career I guess the other guys made a point to break his face. Then5b4 he started surgery and now it's a disaster because his face changed completly. I think it's the teeth that are very weird

Show it, I don't believe it and I think his plastic surgeon should be named and shamed. This is a disaster.

But one thing I find rather strange is that he doesn't look to be depressed about it, he looks in good mood. Maybe the effects of drugs or he is mentally ill. -

Hahahah .. that picture is amazing. Its something like straight out of Simpsons, South Park or Mad Magazine. My only guess is that "celebrities" like him, after living decades within the hollywood "world", develope some sort of mental illness where they cant distinguish anymore between acting & living and feeding their perception of reality from movies its like some sort of a Andy Kaufmann sketch where Mickey Rourke creates a fake Mickey Rourke character
Whoever Mickeys agent/manager/advisor is, he/she should be charged for failure to render assistanceand that picture should be a warning for any aspiring actors, dont let yourself represent by the wrong people or else you end up like that. Print it out, put it somewhere close to your bed and every morning when you wake up, you take a look and say "Thank you Mickey" cause you know, you will work hard, you will keep your sanity, you will learn to avoid bad company and you will never ever end up some day on tv or newspaper dressed as a halloween copy of Chuck Norris scaring every single fan you ever might have had. -

Looks definitely better, cause the wig is glued to his head better .anyway, i dont want to mock Mickey, that guy always has been a great actor and surely not many will argue with that, but i stand by what I said.. its a sad portray of a man, who lives in a fantasy world (like his "boxing" career) and either hes mentally not fit anymore or the people around him treat him like Michael Jackson and shut him out from outside world ("Fantastic fight, Mickey.. you are a real boxer.. nothing was staged" ."Dont worry Mickey, this wig is like your real hair, nobody will ever notice" "Yea Mickey, dont worry, public will believe u had all that plastic surgery due to your kindergaden boxing fight" ..
I like Mickey Rourke .. but i prefer to pretend he stopped appearing in public after the Wrestler
And here we go again back to Mickey 2015:

You know what .. fkkk it perhaps Mickey is different for some.. and even for me, being a fan since he did that harley davidson / marlboro man movie..he managed to have a style that was his own but be became weird.. but perhaps the idea is connected to him being that 80/90s guy, the style (sin that abysmal boxing farce) the transition didnt work out for me..for example, stallone, he never much dared to do any real roles apart what people want to see him in (well yea he tried.. but come on.. he knew wasnt for him) and thats why even with all his weird enhancements hair, skin, eyes around him, in some way its still sly but Mickey is a real method actor..one of the best he can and played everything - he made and is still doing alot of crappy movies for the money, but whenever he takes a role seriously, he outplays the rest of the cast.. is like watching deniro with david spade.. mickey owns his scenes.. so yea, perhaps following that way (but come on.. without that freeeking wig at least) it kind of produces motivation for other people. 62 years old perfect shapeyoung girlfriend good actor bit loco doing whatever he wants strolling around the strip and no imdb forum will ever hurt th1ebcat
