Oh my goodness I'm so grateful Wiiliam Shatner came back alive and has a new profound perspective of precious planet earth is.
I was pessimistic before because I thought people would wanna escape the problems we did to our planet earth.
Shatner didn't! The way he kept going on and on about the stark contrast of our blue planet vs the cold dark evil of space is what you should pay attention to!!
The reason I love our planet so much is for the reasons Shatner talks about the beauty of earth!
The images of Earth taken from space were in the textbooks I studied from in high school and other picture books about astronomy.
Blue earth along its clouds is prettier in comparison to red planet Mars or green planet Neptune or ugly brown Jupiter.
