i didn't mean to imply that spader was no longer sexy and certainly not that he wasn't still a great actor. i was only saying that how one lives can accelerate the aging process. i find j.s.' s lack of vanity refreshing. in a business where actors seem to be gazing at themselves in mirrors to try on what look is best, there is a genuineness to spader's public persona. and that in itself is very sexy indeed.

I'm implying that he's no longer sexy!
YOU don't find him sexy anymore. That doesn't mean he isn't sexy. You're entitled to your tastes but they are just that.

I'm watching Supernova (2000) and I'm thinking 'hey that looks like that old man who played Robert Califorina on The Office (2012)' Then I'm thinking that can't be the same guy, because it's only about 12 years between those roles and one guy is in his 30's and that old man has to be pushing 60!

Actually it was 14 years because I think the film was sho5b4t in 1998. it is amazing how much we do age in roughly 15 years. Particularly if you are going from age 35 to 50. Just wait until you hit those years.

exactly i literally couldn't believe my eyes when i saw him on the blacklist bc he looked so old and so unattractive is the word he just looked like an average middle aged slob which a lot of this is bc he is bald.
but it was not that it was sudden actually it just seems like it was bc the last time i saw him in anything before the blacklist was in i guess secretary in 2003 and that was a long time ago.
