She2000's pro-Palestinian, not anti-Semitic. She simply sides with Palestine and acknowledging their right to exist. That doesn't mean she hates Jews or want them extinct.
If she was anti-Semitic, really really anti-Semitic, I doubt she would have worked with Mike Nichols, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, Helena Bonham Carter, Maggie Gyllenhaal and other Jewish actors. True anti-Semites would refuse to even work or co-act with these and other Jews. That would be going against their belief. But she has worked with them all and in some instances she's even best buddies with them.
And even if she's anti-Semite, so what? Is that a crime? No one seems to complain when people makes anti-Muslim remarks or anti-anything. -

Calling people who criticize Israel for anti-Semitic is beyond ridiculous. That actually undermines the whole fight against actual anti-Semitism.
Not to mention it might set a standard where people will be afraid to criticize Israel or other countries. Every country hould be criticized without accusations of ant anything. Criticizing Israel doesn't make anyone anti-Semitic, it just means that person acknowledges Palestine's right to exist. -

Meryl Streep isn't Jewish. But apart from that I mostly agree with you, although I would never defend someone's anti-Semitism. Not that Thompson is an anti-Semite(being pro-Palestinian is not the same as being an anti-Semite).
