I have to wonder how much of the script they wrote in advance or how much she ad libbed. She plays her character who is so over-the-top and yet her acting is not hammy - she really sold it. Loved it!

Her performance on Californication was proof that she's a great actress, and not just a seduction machine capable of causing untold trouble to any man she wanted. Not that I'm saying she did. But really, wow.
