Probably my favorite Gene Wilder film. He was so good at bringing sweetness and heart to his roles, and I think he did it best with Avram Belinski. He was definitely leading Harrison Ford in this film.

(edited after a re-watching)- What are you gonna do, when the world catches on?

I will miss Gene so much.He did live a full life and what is stuck in my head is all my favorite actors are all over 60 at least.i can't believe Mel Brooks is 93.what it means to me is its coming to a end of a era of great film making and my future is gonna consist of cgi and remakes.

Unfortunaly, this is not available on Blu-ray, but it is on DVD which looks pretty good, I picked it up years ago for $3 and never got around to watching it until I heard about Gene's passing. It was really good.
