I fully agree, and I think he was even sexier withouth the moustache. Not the conventional Hollywood type at the time, but still so sexy.

Agreed, mainly on the strength of "Midnight," which also featured the even handsomer Francis Lederer. That movie exceeds my RDA for eye candy. It's also wicked funny.
