No one2000 was really to blame? Are you
      kidding
me? James had a choice, svetamethyst. And instead of choosing to put aside his selfishness and to stay by his wife's side, and to help her through whatever it was that she was going through - he chose to focus on himself and on
      his
needs and desires by having an affair with Suzy.
And Suzy is also to blame, because she
      knew
that James was married. Instead of saying, "no," and telling him to back off she went ahead and became his mistress - contributing to the destruction of a marriage. She knew better, but she did it anyway!
And then, of course, we have Gloria Stuart who (if the stories are true) played matchmaker for James and Suzy knowing that James was still married to Linda at the time.
And you have the nerve to say that no one is to blame?!
We're talking about two very selfish people who didn't give a damn about Linda or the marriage vows that had been exchanged between James and Linda! They saw what they wanted, they went after it, and they stepped on Linda in the process.
And who's to say that James won't get tired of Suzy? Who's to say that he won't ditch her for someone else? A, "younger model," perhaps?
      What goes around, comes around.

Seriously, you guys. Suzy is not to blame. If anyone is to blame, it's James. Anyways, Suzy's part in Titanic wasn't big, but she was decent and I didn't mind her.

She's not to blame? You can't be serious, coastin! What are you saying? Thada0t James held a gun to her head and forced her to become his mistress?
Let's face it, coastin! She knew what she was doing, and she is just as guilty as James. Stop making excuses for her.

I couldn't stand Suzy Amis in Titanic. Her character was dull and pointless. Every time she was on screen, I just wanted her scene to finish. I didn't like Frances Fisher either.

She had a bigger part in 'Usual Suspects' playing the lawyer/fem fatale of Gabriel Byrne - I think. I'm not to sure about anything that happened in that movie.

Her part in Usual Suspects was pretty minor too. She was just a fixture.
She was the same in Fandango, one of her first roles. She looked good, but had like one line.

Anyone could've played Lizzie Calvert. She was pretty forgettable.
