Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Dario Argento

tarantino said he will only make 10 film in his life because he said that some of the great director ended up making a bad film in their late age, although its not seems really true because you can see how Ridley Scott, Woody Allen, George Miller, Speilberg and Eastwood maintain their career. But, it does happen to Argento, poor Argento with his failed count dracula.

Scott, Spielberg, Miller, Eastwood and Allen have directed some weak films in their careers too

OK, I got it. Some of his film is boring, but I really like "Midnight in Paris". At least it have some fantasy in it. Yeah, its true, "THEY LIVE" and "THE THING" (original, not remake!) is so good but both do poorly at the box office. Speilberg? All his movie cash in a lot of money, even though some of them are just mediocre and he never make any deep thinking movie. (Oh, I never watch Lincoln, not interested about any american freaking president). I think from all this "commercial" director, Tarantino is the best. I respect your taste dude.
