Can anyone give me the exact Red Buttons quote when he appeared on the Carson Show with several superstarsI think Sinatra was among them. Had something to do with "brown shoes." Thanks, Mark

It has something to do with brown shoes and a tuxedo but I think it was said by George Gobel, not Red Buttons.
According to Wikipedia, it was Gobel. Here's the quote.
"After following Bob Hope and Dean Martin on The Tonight Show, Gobel famously quipped to Johnny Carson, "Did you ever get the feeling that the world was a tuxedo and you were a pair of brown shoes?""
