Yeah. Dean Cain is a crappy actor. I don't even think he looked like Superman at all. My butt looks like Superman more than he does. This guy needs to get a real job. He should be a janitor dressed up as Superman.

Well, I happen to like Dean Cain. Maybe he's not the greatest actor, but he is talented in more than one way. He writes, produces, etc. Not very many actors can write a script!! Season Greedings and Vitually Destroyed were very good scripts!! Dean you have my vote!! I loved watching you!!

The successful actor is the WORKING actor. He is a working actor. And a working actor is someone who is striving to improve his craft. He is good looking and he is actually quite a good actor when he is given the right role. At least he takes the risks to stretch beyond the norm. No, he isn't an oscar caliber actor but he was by far the best Superman for the genre. I liked Chris Reeve very much but not his version of Superman. I don't compare Dean's Superman to the current Clark Kent because it is really a different genre.
As for the "he is the worst actor of all time"why the hell you are on his IMDB site is beyond me. If you don't like him, ignore him. But don't get on his site and expect your opinion to be appreciated.

One, NO I am not Dean Cain and TWO, you missed the point, idiot. He may not be the greatest actor but as long as he is getting work, he IS successful. It may not be success in the terms of adulation of the masses but he can pay his bills and feed himself and his son. Brando and Hoffman were successful too, but their situations were completely different. They were also aiming for silver screen status, something that Dean isn't doing.
You have a real issue with him and it is really weird. As for your analogy of Rosa Parks, THAT was one of the stupidest things I have ever read. It doesn't even make sense. How can anyone expect a pleasant reception when he attacks a person on a site geared TOWARD that person? How that can be compared to Rosa Parks is ridiculous.

Everything I've read & heard about him, he is a good guy, a guy's guy. I do think he's he got a big head from the success of LnC. Ami Dolenz, a former girlfriend of his has talked about this. Also, if you read his EW interveiw, the only major magazine interview he ever did he does come accross as arragant. He also thought suceess would just happen, he admits in the interview, he doesn't do lessons or anything, which he needs, he was never a very good actor, I think he's realized from interviews that he given since he was naive to think he would just go onto be a movie star, he's admitted he's career hasn't gone as planed, I don't think he's figured out he needs to take lessons & work at it if he wants it. I've heard stories that Teri used to get upset, she would get upset about alot of things, this is just one of them, because he would spend all his time playing basketball with the crew instead memorizing his lines or rehersing.

You really can't tell by someone's personality by reading an interview. What the tone of voice you hear in my head may differ from another reader.
I cannot stand Dean Cain. I think Hollywood is stupid for letting this no-talent punk on TV and movies. Everytime I see him on TV I either want to puke or beat him up or both. I even used to watch Lois and Clark, but I watched for Lois. The show was also well written. They just needed a new Clark. And how is Ripley's Believe it or not still on the air. Who watches it. Dean Cain ruined it.
How can a host ruin a show for you? You need to lay down and rest
Its nice that you watched for Lois/Teri Hatcher, but Dean Cain and she had amazing chemistry, so I don't know about "casting a new Clark".

he is a terrible actor, you all say that its down to the script and director as to the quality of what he is in.
does he have no mind of his own? is he completely incapable of accepting roles that are nothing but pure trash?
or just he just take whatever is going regardless of how poor a project it is, because he doesnt know where his next meal is b68coming from?
yes, he is the worst actor ever, and now he is fat too -

Sounds like you have some anger issues. Someone in Hollywood that you don't like or think can act makes you physically ill, want to beat him up, or both (I guess on those occasions you are tied to a chair and force fed Dean Cain movies). A good way to relieve anxiety is to volunteer and help people who REALLY have problems. Often this will help to put life's little problems in perspective. You obviously watch ENOUGH Dean Cain movies to get sick of him! While you may not like him, he certainly is moving on without your, or anyone else's, permission to make a living! I am going to wager that someone who works that much is probably affordable and shows up on time, learns his lines, and is thankful for a paycheck. I have seen movies he was in that made me wince, but I have also seen things I like him in. I think he plays a bad guy WAY better, and I loved him in Lois and Clark. Here's a little advice. When I see a movie Dean Cain is in, and I don't think it's enjoyable, I TURN IT OFF. I don't curse him, the crew, the directors, all of Hollywood, etc. And once I turn the channel, I allow my thoughts to move on too. So should you.
