your original post was an extremely negative statement about Republicans which is why others are making their statements to you. You've back pedaled on(or "twisted") your original statement. Like I told you before grow up

Many, but not all liberals, are idiots. You're one of the idiots. When Barack Obama gives all of the 'not priveleged' people handouts, it gives them less incentive to work. Less incentive to work means social stupidity and less stimulation of the economy.
Why should Obama increase taxes on those who DO work hard and hand it to the ones who are lazy, didn't go to college, or dropped out of high school? Why is Obama increasing taxes on small buisinesses? This lays people off, especially since he's raising minimum wage, which creates less jobs.
It's so incredibly easy to understand.
What about all of the celebrities that DO support Barack Obama and ARE democrats? There's actually much more rich celebrities who are democrats than republicans. Get your facts straight. -

Dean has repeatedly said he is not a staunch Republican (translation, a neo conservative is probably what he meant). There's nothing wrong with being Republican, right now though, its has a bad connotation in regards to last few Republican presidents and the crazy pundits at Fox News.
Being a Republican just means you believe in small government. b68The Republicans have decades ago are not the same as the ones now (that goes for Democrats too).

It is sad that people actually think the democrats are for the working person. All you have to do is just look at their ideologies and what they support.
Instead, the democrats should claim to be "The party for the non-working and the illegals."
After all, those are the only ones they support with their give aways. -

Oh my god! Peeing in my pants about billyxix. What does "tootless" mean? Do they never fart? What the hell does "privildged" mean? I "scurred and confoozed!" Thank you so much for making me laugh so hard. Yet another scared democrat is all I can think of. Everything constantly based on emotion, not common sense.

Let's see, how many clichs and stereotypes can we find in this poorly spelled troll post..
- "Hicks" are toothless.
- Republicans are "hicks."
- Texans are "hicks."
- Texans have nothing to do but go rootin' tootin' and shootin'.
- Texans own 75 guns or rifles.
- Good-looking people are privileged.
- Good-looking people never even have to work hard for anything.
- OP is a moron.

I'm a toothless, gun-toting, bible-beating, hick from Texas - clinging to my guns and religion in fear and apathy - who voted for Obama, thinking he would bring the country together, get our government working FOR the people again and change the bitter, partisan rancor in Washington.
Boy was I ever wrong!
I guess us tootless Te5b4xas hicks really ARE morons!

Amen,
Im born and raised from North Western Louisiana with half my family living in Louisiana and the other half living in Texas. Just about everyone in my family has worked their butts off their entire lives to get in the position their in and are all conservative republicans. The previous stereotypes sickin me to no end. The reason most actors are liberal democrats is because its the popular thing to do in hollywood. Now granted the ones like Sean Penn and Susan Saradon really do believe what they say given their actions. However, I bet the majority of them carry the blue cards just to keep working and are afraid of what would happen otherwise. A lot of them probably could care less about politics and might not even vote because their too into their own worlds. A legend like Robert Duval, whose a well known staunch republican, will never be peer presured into that nonsense because he's already established as an A list and is one of the few who has always given top notch performances throughout his career. I miss the days when hollywood wasn't so lopsided and don't even get me started on the media who are Nazi like followers of Obama.

He's Republican? Well, he's gone up a notch in my opinion.
a young quite good looking guy when he started out, people just flocked to him and he never even had to work hard for anything
Perfect description of Barack Obama.Think cynical thoughts. -

Wow you are pretty brainwashed aren't you? Republicans bad, Democrates good.
I hate that I always have to bring this up. Republicans donate more money than democrates do hand over fist.
In the United States if your family has money life is easier, but regardless of your postion if you work hard enough you can accomplish almost anything. If people don't believe this, than they are lying to themselves. The problem has more to do with the person in the mirror than anyone else.
FYI: I don't own a gun and I didn't come from a privildged family. My agreement with the Republican tax belief far out ways any liberal beliefs I have. -

Just curious, but why are there only 2 big parties in the States? In my country (Austria), we have 5 big parties who build up the government (in changing cominations) and more than 10 smaller parties who exist, but don't play a large role in the political landscape.
And we only have 8 million people. How could a country as la16d0rge as the USA be ruled by only two parties (especially when one is liberal and the other conservative).
I'm just being curious, I don't know much of the political system in the states, but this thread has caught my attention -

I've never gotten that either.
I live in Canada, and we have three major parties, with a number of smaller ones..and it varies from province to province
so why only two parties

"I wasn't too shocked when I heard this, republicans usually fall into one of two categories
- The toothless hick from Texas who has nothing to do but go rootin' tootin' and shootin' with one of his 75 guns or rifles
and - The "privileged" person, the kind of person who never had to really work for anything and has had it very easy with family connections or whatever and things just fall into their lap."
I am originally from St. Louis and I have all my own teeth. I am a working class person who has been married for 19 years and has 3 children, all adopted.
I used to be a member of the Democrat Party (I was going to say I was a liberal Democrat, but t2000hat seemed redundant). However, as I matured, I saw the foolishness of such an affiliation, and went with the Republicans.
By the way, I fixed your spelling errors, except for the obvious attempt to sound so cool.
Obamunism: The end of the Republic.
At times like these, I really hate being right!
- The toothless hick from Texas who has nothing to do but go rootin' tootin' and shootin' with one of his 75 guns or rifles

Revsolly, that is funny. I was born and raised Republican and when George Bush "Sr" was president I realized that the Republican party is all BS. War War War! Money Money Money! Evil in fact, H Ross Perot even said during that election that the Republican party was blackmailing him to get out of the race threatening to go to the media with lesbian pictures of his daughter. Also, if you believe a War with Iraq had anything to do with 911 you are a fool. Democrat is the way to go for anyone not in the top 1%. I have "matured" too, or should say gotten smarter as I have aged.
