Irrespective whether you greatly love all the films the Coen brothers have made so far, or find some have been more disappointing than others, what greatly admired fiction books and even nonfiction ones, would you like to see them tackle, for either the cinema, or for cable TV ?
Nonfiction book/s can be something in real life you find compelling and/or extremely funny, that possibly hasn't yet had a nonfic book written on it, but should in your view.

They are one of the few choices I would trust to tackle a "Dark Tower" HBO TV series. Given how well they develop characters slowly and so very deeply in their movies I think they would make the characters like Roland, Jake, Eddie, and Susanna come to life lik2000e few others could. I also think it would be very interesting to see how they developed the "world" of that series with the mix of ancient advanced technology and a post apocalyptic wasteland.

For some reason, I think they'd be a good fit for Thomas Pynchon's "The Crying of Lot 49".
