What a weird coincidence!I was just on the net and discovered that they made some new "Pink Panther"cartoon series w5b4ith Blake Edwards and David DePatie as producers earlier this year.
I was looking at it and he died the same day.
Also sad it is that with the death of Tony Curtis that makes it the second star connected to the movie "The Great Race" to die in the last two months. -

Peter Falk is the only one left from that movie in front of OR behind the camera now(Natalie Wood-Jack Lemmon-Tony Curtis-Keenan Wynnand now Blake Edwardseven Ross Martin are now gone)but Larry Storch is still here as well.
