I've always liked Jeff Fahey's acting chops. Seen him in various movies (Body Parts, Silverado, Psycho III, Lawnmover Man, Planet Terror, etc.), and dug his role as Frank Lapidus in Lost. I have yet to see Under The Dome, but I just saw the trailer for it, and was initially stoked to see him playing a scruffy, badass looking sheriff.
However, upon checking out Under The Dome's IMDB page, I was kinda disappointed to see that he apparently is featured in only 3 episode, especially since the trailer almost made it look like he was one of the main characters.
So I say, it's time to give him the leading role in a TV show, where he plays a scruffy looking guy - perhaps a detective or something. Since Fahey comes from a lot of horror movies, I wouldn't mind if the show had some scary, supernatural elements. He could be a meat and potatoes type of detective with an edge who accidentally finds himself dealing with supernatural cases or something like that.
He could be badass in an almost funny way, like if a demon suddenly pops up, belting out a hellish growl right in his face, he would just give the demon a death stare and with a very dry tone say "yeah, I love ya too" before killing it.
The details would have to be unique and interesting of course, but that's the kind of role I would love to see him in.

Good idea. I always thought I would like to see him in a show based on his Planet Terror character JT. He was the best thing about that film. I also would love him to appear in The Walking Dead. He would make a great zombie killer!
I was fortunate enough to meet him in May and wanted to say this to him but was so star struck I ended up not saying hardly anything to him at all lol!!
