Oh, I know what you're taking about.
I can't remember who walked in on it, but the third person wasn't a guy. It was Peter Fonda, Karen Black and the third was Toni Basil. I wonder what the story of that whole thing was. -

Peter was talking about a fight between Dennis Hopper and another guy on set, when he mentions that he was in the room next to it playing the guitar in Karen and Toni's room. He says "I picked up Karen's guitar and playing songs and, you know, location love". Dennis mentions later that Peter was in bed with Karen and Toni when he crashed through the door during th16d0e fight. So, I don't know, it's up for interpretation.

It sounds like a misinterpreted situation.
A possibility is that Peter Fonda was literally in bed with Toni and Karenhanging out together. Just talking and relaxing and he was playing guitar. They probably got along and were just relaxing together. Peter was showing the ol' Fonda charm by playing the guitar.
Makes sense to me. I've hung out in hotel beds with girls. It's a friends thingjust a friend thing. -

yeah, i think it was dennis hopper who mentioned this in the documentary. something about him being drunk and starting a fight and as he crashed through some door he sees peter in bed wib68th karen black and toni basil, who were staying together during filming.
