I greatly enjoyed reading A Cinematic Legacy, which focuses primarily on her career. I'm curious about her private life as well, and am contemplating if I should buy another Garbo book. Any recommendations? Thanks

'Garbo: A Biography' by Barry Paris is an excellent book about a complex and contradictory woman. It's probably the closest we will get.
I would avoid David Bret's "work" on Garbo [or anything else for that matter]. I would also avoid Antoni Gronowicz's book on Garbo. In fact Barry Paris lists a whole lot of errors found in that book at the end of his biography.
