Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Stacy Haiduk

    jeffcogs — 18 years ago(September 18, 2007 07:18 PM)

Hi everyone, I know this was discussed a long time ago, but I just wanted to add my memories. Her dad was my gym teacher too, but at that point he taught in the elementary school. So I had him for grades 1-6. I'm almost exactly the same age as Stacy, so this was back in the 70's. Her dad was GREAT. He was one of the nicest gym teachers on the planet, and he hardly fit the stereotype. He was also a fantastic artist; he painted a huge picture on the gym wall of the school mascot. (It was bird of sorts; I can't remember exactly what kind.) Stacy went to a different school than I did, but some people knew her. When I was in high school everyone talked about how "Mr. Haiduk's daughter is hot!" Later when I was in college we all heard how she was moving away to be a movie star. I think I met her a couple times when I was in elementary school, but I don't really remember much about her. But her parents were the nicest people around, and so I'm sure she is too.
By the way, when I knew her dad, we pronounced his last name like "hi duck" not "hi duke" like it says here on IMDB.
