When she did Rebecca in Ivanhoe, she was a young Jewess, but it seemed way different from Mary, in J.O.N. Rebecca seemed more "developed" a character. Perhaps it was because J.O.N.'s focus wasn't on Mary, but Jesus, or more is known about Jesus as his 3 years ministry is described. After he left on his mission, Mary isn't really mentioned til some of his siblings show up where he was visiting. It was a "Ma want's you to come home & quit this foolishness, it's dangerous for you & embarrassing for us" type of discussion.
In any case, Ms. Olivia was great in both roles!
