Recently, I was thinking that he would have been good as James Bond (say around 1975 or so).
I've seen the movie "Bye Bye Birdie" a few times, and the only thing missing there is the Hutton-Prentiss duo. Oh well, a lost opportunity!

I've seen a couple of them about 15 years ago. I forget which. Jim Hutton would have been so perfect in those movies!!!!
James Bond, Clousseauso many roles he could have played but didn't. A pity, really.
At least we can appreciate all the wonderful movies and TV show which he did. I just wish that more of his TV movies from the early seventies would become available to us!
One that's quite popular is "Don't be afraid of the dark", which was remade a couple of years ago. He doesn't have a big part in the movie, and I really like the scene where his shirt is unbuttoned.

I haven't seen the remake of "Don't be Afraid of the Dark". I only saw the original because Jim is in it. I like the part where he had his shirt unbuttoned.
Warning: he plays a major jerk in this movie.
