What I don't get is why it did.
I mean, if Nix and Gold are already liberal Repubs then why not just switch to be a conservative racist Dem and win with their new party instead?
That's what Gabbard and Sanders did.
Fed up with their own party they dropped out and switched.

Also, how did this work since the Dems were already racist cons?
