yaa go through her imdb movie list its full of failed A and B movies, both as her as lead and as secondary characters. The only decent ones, at least by ratings such as stranger than fiction, hairspray, chicago and the bone collector, could hardly be called successful due to her, she could have been replaced by "name any generic archetype actress" and her presence would not have gone amiss. (does she come to mind when you say any of these movies?? not really)
if its being a hater to call out a poor actress who people say is an 'amazing one (im sure she is a great women and she is beautiful) then i guess you hate reality. -

@Everyone who posted rude comments: So what if the OP thinks Queen Latifah's untalented. That doesn't mean she's a hater, she just has a different view point.
@Homersfan: Queen Latifah gained popularity through her hip hop music in the early 90's. Then she starred in a tv show, and afterwards she became a film actress. And I think in 2003/2004 she came out with an album on which she sang. -

Don't worry, you're not alone. I don't think she's very talented, either. Then again either is Ashlee Simpson, and she'll make more money than we'll ever see. And that is the only true barometer of success: wealth. Am I right, people? sigh

Well, QL was a hip hop chick, and did a whole bunch of music I've never heard, then she got the show Living Single, which wasn't half bad, then she got a bunch of roles in movies I've never seen.
