I've read through the various comentaries on Piper Laurie's flicks, and almost all of her fienst roles were mentined. May I recomend two morethe Austrlian movie, TIM with a very, very young Mel Gibson, and her t.v. drama, ROAD TO GALVESTON. They were as good as she gotand that was very, very good.

loved "tim", saw it when my son, who is developmentally disabled, was quite young & it brought tears to my eyes.

THE HUSTLER is certainly her best. She was great on TWIN PEAKS TV show and CARRIE as well.
