didnt he have an affair during the5b4 filming of the sound of music with his onscreen daughter 'Liesel' (Charmain Carr)? im sure i heard that correctly somewhere.
she was 22 and he 35 during filming, so not that strange i guess.

From what I heard, she had a crush on him and there was flirtation but, he was in a relationship or married at the time.

I think Charmian was a little delusional because while she says she had a crush and t1c84hat he flirted with her, in her book she can't produce a single time when he said anything to her directly during the making of the movie. Her book is full of her admiration for a lot of older men. Seems like wishful thinking.
