Why I just cannot take this woman seriously.

In 1991 she claimed that when she was an infant/toddler, her father sexually abused her and that her mother did nothing to prevent it. She even had her sitcom father suddenly become a horrible person that had physically and mentally abused Roseanne and her sister Jackie when they were kids, and their alcoholic mother knew about it but claimed that she was powerless to do anything about it. Many people at the time were wondering why the character of Roseanne's father on the show was suddenly being portrayed in this manner, as he had been a decent person when he debuted. And she reportedly disliked the actress that played Crystal and had her written out of the series at some point, I don't remember when. And then there was the little matter of referring to her writers and crew members by numbers and not by their names. I think that speaks for itself.
And then in 2011, she 16d0revealed that she had made the whole sexual abuse story up and that it had been caused by one of her many drug-fueled freakouts. And in the meantime she has said and done numerous other things that have made people wonder just what the hell is wrong with her. I know I do.
And that is why I cannot believe a single word that comes out of this woman's mouth. I can't believe that she is still employed in Hollywood in any way, I thought she would have burned so many bridges that nobody would want to be associated with her. She is a lying manipulative sociopath, plain and simple.
That's pretty much all there is to it!
