I read this on the trivia on his page, just wondering if anyone knows more about it & what's his religion?

He was born here, but not sure about his parents. I do know he's a Maronite Catholic.

Dude this sentence showed as if Lebanon is a muslim country.
They left lebanon because of the 75-90 civil war. In which muslims were killed by christians and christians killed by muslims. Hopefully this sentence would be rectified.
He is if am not mistaken a maronite (follows catholics). They only exist in lebanon and cyprus. But the vast majority is in lebanon. They form the biggest christian sect there.

It was only his dad Joseph who left Lebanon as a persecuted Christian orphan at the age of ten; long before the 75-90 conflict. His Mom was already here when his dad met and married her. Tony and his siblings were born and raised in America in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

there's no single thing you said in this post was right! what is wrong with you?
what civil war? he wasn't even born in lebanon
and maronites are in syria too
a lot of christian lebanese left in the beginning of 20th century because of religious persecution like youssef shahin family (egyptian director), omar sherf family, pierre gemayel (the phalange party founder), and a lot of other celebrities has lebanese descent left the same way because it was pretty nasty out there with the othman empire crap

I think the couple of posts above are correct, it was only his father who fled Lebanon. Tony was raised Maronite Catholic, but I remember reading somewhere that he and his family are currently registered as parishioners at an Episcopal church in Pasadena or something.

this issue has never happened in lebanon !!
i want to say something about the civil war in lebanon 1975-1990 :
It was the war of many countries on a land called "Lebanon" !!
SOME of the lebanese , and i insist on SOME was fighting in the name of other Countries as Iran , Syria , Europe , Israel and even USA !!!
the lebanese people are one of the most civilised people in the world, they are after all Phenician and they have never been a Muslim-Christ crisis in lebanon , maybe a few in some regions and i highly doubt it
all i want to say that Lebanon is a touristic , cultural coutnry and the only arab coutnry who offers the their people freb68edom of speaking , press , religions !!
If you make an ass out of yourself, there will always be someone to ride you.-Bruce Lee

                      I agree with you!
I was about to get furious about the quote: "religious persecution"
there is nothing like that in Lebanon at all!
