He's from philadelphia, as a suburbanite of philadelphia I am ashamed. He doesn't want to sign autographs so he can pursue what makes him happy in life. What a douche, I liked him before but what a jack ass mentality. How would an autograph take away from anything.

I'm a fan of his too and I think he's very funny and talented (I'm actually watching BTTF2 right now), but this is really disappointing if true. I can understand wanting privacy, but there are celebrities who are MUCH more famous that still take the time to be gracious with their fans.

Just read that pretentious quote by him (or maybe his lawyer worded it for him I doubt his IQ extends that far) and I can't believe he thinks he's above BTTF now it's beneath him is it. Well, whether you like him or not, Tom Cruise is a billion times more famous than him and he always spends hours at red carpet events (sometimes drenched in rain) and signs for fans and phones people's friends and says hi while they're stood in line and gets photos taken. The bigger the star usually the nicer they are. The scrawny little tosspots like thi7ecs guy in the suburbs of stardom have a chip on their shoulder and feel they're "typecast" and "pigeonholed" and sulk and throw a hissy fit about signing things. He wasn't even one of the top TWO main stars in the franchise either! What a waste of space.
