She was also in her 30s at the time. She's lost (in a healthier way) and gained a few times since then, but the woman is in her 60's now. She'll never be as thin as she was even when she turned 50. It's just about being healthy now and that's a good thing.

How true! She actually stated in her recent book,
What I Know for Sure
that she has stopped dieting and scale-watching forever, which relieved me.
We waste too much time fat-shaming others and focusing too much on getting thin and end up neglecting our overall health.
Oprah actually looks so much healthier and less anxious now.
I think she looks stronger and more muscular, which is what more women should strive for instead of thinness.
