No-unfortunately i didnt get to talk to himwe were busy and i just rang them upplus the museum has a strict policy that states we arent allowed to ask for autographs or bother celebrities when they visitand believe me we get quite a fewand lots of guys from the colts and pacers tooI really wish i wouldve been able to talk to him thoughi know hes had better moviesbut i really loved him in 'that thing you do'and i sooo wanted to tell him that. I'm wondering if he's working on a movie where he'll have long haircuz his hair was almost down to his shouldersit was kinda weird and i really didnt find it very attractiveand MAN is he short!!! i was shockedbut still love him!!!!

From what I know, when he's not working he tends to let his hair grow long.
It must be pretty cool to have a job where you get to see celebrities out and about, even if you can't get very fannish with them!Dude! The Steve Zahn Fan Forum http://www.xyzahn.com/forum -

Me and my friend saw him and got a picture two days ago! It was at the Tucson airport, he was about to fly to LA. He was really nice, we didn't have a long chat with him or anything because he was literally about to board the plane (he had just handed his boarding pass to the flight attendent, but he was nice enough to get his picture taken with us. That photo's gonna be on facebook for a long time!

I just saw him today in a store I work at in Lexington, KY. I'm told he shops there quite regularly but this was the first time I had seen him. He was shopping with his son. His hair is pretty long as princessjp was saying and he is pretty short. This site lists him at 5'9" and I think that might be a little generous. Seemed like a nice guy though and a good dad.

he came to northern kentucky university today for an acting class I'm in because the head chair of the acting dept. went to acting college with him. He was very friendly and loved that so many people enjoy his work in movies. His hair was long, he had a beard and mustache and mentioned that next week he was going to be filming a prequel to "lonsome dove."
All in all, cool dude.
ps. I would have to say that steve was 5'9. Big head, smaller frame body. -

I know this discussion was last week, but I have to chip in and say I saw him at Ozzfest in Charlotte, North Carolina last year in September (the rock festival). I was like two rows back from the stage and all of the sudden here he comes walking right in front of me. Hair was long but tied in a ponytail with a bandana around his head. Wearing white T-shirt, jeans and flip-flops. When he w5b4alked past, he kept scanning the crowd real quick and then he jumped up onstage and went backstage. I was so shocked, I just stood there like an idiot and didn't say anything. If it wasn't him, he has a twin he needs to contact and get to know.
I love his movies. He is the coolest funnyman out there. My favorite thus far has been Sahara. I hope him and Matthew do another one. They are perfect together.
P.S. 5'9" IS a generous estimate. I'm 5'4 and he can't be but a few inches taller than me.
Cheers.

My sighting occured while I was in high school. I am also a Cooper graduate (2002), and he came in one year to speak directly to the drama class. Although I wasn't in the drama group, I knew the teacher pretty well and he let me slip in. I was only able to stay for a short while, but from what I gathered, Steve seemed like a great guy and is very passionate about what he does, which is refreshing to see given his level of fame. Unfortunately, pictures were not allowed.

Just because you meet a person once, doesn't mean they are who they appear to be.
But it's no reason to believe otherwise, either.
The poster who went to high school with him knew him 25 years ago. Can anyone in his or her 40s honestly say he or she is exactly the same person today as he or she was in high school?
Honour thy parents. They were hip to the groove too once you know.
