Well seeing what is written at the bottom of your post (rob zombie halloween 2007, the one true halloween ) that alone proves you do not know beep about horror flicks. Fulci is awesome and he made gold out of the little bit of $$$ he had. Rob Zombie on the other hand should never be allowed on a movie set again

Yeah horror remakes are dissappointing. No one has creativity anymore and Rob Zombie is a hack crappy director, sure Superbeasto was funny but thats hardly a film, he shoulda stayed with White Zombie.
And The Beyond rules -

Fulci made a few good movies so he is. His movies have one thing very few horror movies these days have. And that one thing is atmosphere by the truck load. That's what is missing in about 95% of movies these days. If only they would have half the atmosphere of a Fulci movie then they would be on the road to greatness.

I also think Fulci's cinematography is very underrated as well. There are some very cool and stylish looking shots in his films= The bridge scene in The Beyond, The eye coming towards the wood in Zombi etc etc
And yes, Fulci does have a creepy atmosphere in many of his films. Take City of The Living Dead (the gates of hell) for example. Theres such a very strong sense of dread throughout the film like when the guy is walking through the fog and exploring houses, the kid walking around the brownstones in "dunwich" in the middle of night, the very creepy atmosphere with the old drinks being spooked out in the bar, the list could go on and on.
But without a doubt his films aren't perfect, there are plot holes here and there, sometimes the dubbing is bad, and the gore can be very over the top. But personally i am into old school 1960s-1980s horror flicks and Fulci was one of the more interesting creative horror directors out at the time along with Sam Raimi, George Romero, Dario Argento etc etc etc.
His films are always fun to watch on a cold late night with the lights out with a group of friends (or alone for that matter).

Your grammar is appalling. Clearly you should've paid more attention at school rather than coming here just to slag off classic horror movies and
preferring
their inferior remakes.
Incidentally, a quick glance at your previous posting history momentarily convinced me that you were a "troll", but then I quickly realised you weren't bright enough even for that.
Your opinion is worthless.
