i just saw her in a commercial for medical tubs.. shes much older now (of course).. thought hers fans would like to know. still sounds like herself kinda.. she looks nothing like herself since the early 80s. she has white hair now and looks like a grandmother.. also looks as if she had plastic surgery. still pretty though.

She was 32 when the show started and she's 66 now, so it's not surprising that she would look quite different. I think she looks great and I recognized her immediately. As you yourself get older you will realize that 66 isn't all that old, and you won't refer to someone as "looking like a grandmother," or old.

Karen's voice is so high and thin in this commercial I had to wait for a close-up to see if she was really saying the lines or they were being dubbed. Her voice is nothing like the warm tones she had in Little House.

I know, wasn't her voice so different?! I think that's partly age but largely from cigarette smoking. I know she used to smoke, not sure if she still does of course.
I thought she looked and sounded SO old in that commercial! I made a comment about that on a thread and got flak for it ha, but I think she did look 'older' than I expected her to look.
Her IMDb photo looks nice though.
