I completely agree. All these years and still vigorous in his profession. It's awesome and inspiring.

That classic film of his "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" will never fade, and he will be up there with it, and will never be forgottenA great actor.

His best role was Burt Henry in the Raquel Welch classic KANSAS CITY BOMBER. Damn good actor.

It's a tough universeIf you're going to survive, you've really got to know where your towel is.

Although Kevin McCarthy was never an under utilized Actor by Hollywood. He still remains under appreciated by the Industry and The Public as well. I believe He had the Chops to become one of The Greatest Film and Television Stars of All Time. It was likely Kevin's own choice not to climb the last Rung to Super Stardom. I believe His goal was just to be A Very Good and Accomplished Actor. And He certainly Accomplished that with a Few Roles that rise Him noticeably above the mainstream radar. I think He was Better than Brando and I would have preferred that He would have been Cast in A Streetcar named Desire. I think Kevin would have bee a Far Better Stanley Kowalski than The Stage or Screen has ever known. Kevin not only held his own with The Greatest Stars but could easily have eclipsed them had He desired to show off His Thunder. Kevin often stole the attention of the Audience without being a Hog onscreen like Joan Crawford. One Movie which deserves far more Acclaim is A Big Hand for A Little Lady. Some Major Screen Talents came together in That Small Little Film. And I think It proved to be one of The Greatest Comedies ever. JoAnne Woodward, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards, Kevin Himself, Burgess Meredith, and Paul Ford. People take a New, and Fresh Look at This Film it is an American Masterpiece. And Kevin provided just the right Balance to make the Picture work. He was The Anchor. God Rest Your Soul Kevin. We are Blessed that He gave You to The Movies.
Be gallant in all things and noble always.

My thanks for having provided the inspiration for the name for my first-born. Class-act, this man.
Just because you can doesn't mean that you should.

His portrayal of BIFF in "death of a salesman" blew my mind!
I wish I could be like Gladstone Gander.
