As nice to her fans as any major star of her era I know of. I was quite saddened by this news. Just saw her in 'After Hours' the other night during the 'Twilight Zone' marathon, and took it upon myself to view her other Zone appearance - as the beauty in 'Jess-Belle' - right after that. Her performances in movies like 'Bad Day at Black Rock', 'Forbidden Planet' (also just shown on Turner this Sunday) and 'Dreamboat' are unforgettable.
Rest in peace.

Heartbroken to hear of the news of her passing this morning. What beauty, charm, strength and intelligence she possessed. Loved her as Altaira in Forbidden Planet, but she will always be "Honey West" to me. Thank you Anne. We will miss you greatly.

I watched "Forbidden Planet" yesterday and thought how it's one of the movies I can watch again and againand there aren't many I can say that about. It even contributed to the greatest TV sci-fi series ever, "Babylon 5."
R.I.P. Anne Frances. She had a long, memorable career.
